Timevault ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application Timevault ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

The App allows you to create deadline items including titles, dates, categories, and notes. All of this data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not collect, transmit, or store this data on any external servers.

Information Collected Automatically

We do not collect any analytics, crash reports, or usage data unless you explicitly opt in through Apple's standard mechanisms. We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs.

Camera and Photo Library

The App requests access to your camera and photo library solely to enable the document scanning feature. Images are processed entirely on your device using Apple's VisionKit framework. No images are uploaded to any server.

Face ID / Biometric Data

The App uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework to provide Face ID protection for sensitive items. We never access or store your biometric data. All biometric authentication is handled entirely by iOS.

2. How We Use Information

All data you enter into Timevault is used solely to provide the App's core functionality: tracking deadlines, sending notifications, and organizing your items. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way.

3. Data Storage and Security

All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your data. If you delete the App, all data is permanently removed from your device. We recommend using iCloud Backup to prevent data loss.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Timevault offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (Weekly, Monthly, Annual) through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment information. Subscription management is done through your Apple ID account settings.

5. Notifications

The App uses Apple's UserNotifications framework to send local notifications about upcoming and overdue deadlines. All notifications are generated and scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Timevault is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Third-Party Services

Timevault uses the following Apple frameworks only:

• SwiftData — local data storage
• VisionKit — on-device document scanning
• LocalAuthentication — Face ID
• UserNotifications — local push notifications
• StoreKit 2 — in-app purchases via App Store

We do not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

8. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You can delete any item directly within the App, or delete the App entirely to remove all associated data. There is no account to delete because we do not create accounts.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By downloading or using Timevault, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Timevault iOS application, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.

3. Subscriptions

Timevault offers auto-renewable subscription plans (Weekly at $1.99, Monthly at $6.99, Annual at $29.99) with a 3-day free trial. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings. No refunds are provided for the current subscription period upon cancellation.

4. Free Tier Limitations

The free version of Timevault allows up to 5 active deadline items. Premium features including unlimited items, document scanning, and Face ID protection require an active subscription.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. You use the App at your own risk. We are not responsible for any missed deadlines, financial losses, or other damages resulting from use or inability to use the App.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
